My version of the basic comp that every army starts with.
All armies start with a score of 30 which is then modified with the following to a maximum of 60:
+2 For taking an Army Standard Bearer.
-1 Each Lord/Hero with a total Str of 7 or more that is obtained by a either a
“Magical Weapon”, Halberd, or by a weapon with variable Strengths (eg. Lance,
Flail, Spear, etc), and that is either mounted, has a movement of 7+, or can Fly.
-2 Each Lord/Hero with a total Str of 7 or more that is obtained by taking a Great
Weapon, and that is either mounted, has a movement of 7+, or can Fly.
-3 Each Terror causing model, this includes any items that upgrade characters to cuasing terror and the steamtank.
-3 Each Terror causing creature with 6 or more wounds*
*Excludes the Lizardmen Stegadon & Dark Elf Hydra.
+4 No Spellcasters (Does Not Apply to Dwarf or Khorne led Armies)
-15 If there are no Standard Bearers in the Army
-5 If there is only 1 Standard Bearer in the Army other then the BSB
This does not apply to a “Hordes of Chaos” army lead by a Daemonic General w/o master of mortals.
-3 For taking a DoW unit as a Rare choice (Not DoW Armies)
-4 For taking a Regiments of Renown unit (Not DoW armies)
-4 For taking a Truthsayer or Dark Emissary (Not in addition to above)
