I'm in. Based on what I've been reading about Storm of Chaos armies and that I have the models, I'll be doing my Tzeentch deamonic legion (don't worry, I'm not going to "cheese it out")

I downloaded the DA errata and discovered somthing odd. It's not errata. My copy of the army book shows exactly what the errata shows. Am I missing something? Did they fix the army book for later printings? Or is there different errata in the chronicles?

Things to compare right off the bat would be the addition of Black Guard's Eternal Hatred, leadership 9 on cold one knights, and warriors at 7pts nekkid. If your army book has them, then they actually reprinted it. |

I checked all of the Erratta and my book has it all. I looked in the front of the book, and there is a point where it says it's the third printing. I guess my life just got easier not having to cart around/glu in erratta.

Yeah, they reprinted the book to encorporate the new changes. Nice. When they reprinted the High Elf book we got lt armor on the RBT crew and swordmaster honour changed to models on foot only.  Yeah, thanks.... |

yeah to me i will be contiuing with my tzeentch mortals, so far i have about 850 points painted and as soon as i finish my marauders will be at the 1000 point mark, sounds great! I had a lot of fun when i played against boldo and matt last weekend. oh and by the way i have been playing dark elves for a year and a half (so i know a thing or two about loosing with them) and so far the tzeentch mortals are having the same such luck, oh well but i am still very excited to begin and continue the legacy!

AAAAHHHH!!! And here I thought I was being creative in using an army few locally played. Then peole start coming out and saying they will be using the same army. Oh well, I'm hooked now. I've got a concept in mind and a plan for the future. Dark elves it is.

So, to recap, Our target for the first week is 750pts painted for June 22 (7 weeks from now). Another painted 250pts a month until we hit 2250? Boldo was working out money details & paybacks.
So far, we have:
JohnBoo = Ogre Kingdoms
Boldo = Ogre Kingdoms
Shaun = Tzeentch DL
Ranger Dude = Dark Elves
afccrew = Tzeentch mortals
Vet sgt E = Wood Elves
Saint Norton = Bretonnians
Iron Warrior = Skaven (?)
Mall Security = Dark Elves (?)
Wolflord = Dark Elves (?)
Wow - looks like a run on dark elves.
Who did I miss?

10 people. Not bad. A good round number making for easy pairings. Hopefully I can make the painting deadline. Only have to paint about a hundred points a week. That's what I get for putting off the start of this project. Oh well. I'm reasonably certain I can do it. It may not be a great force, but c'es la vis.

I should have the first 220pts done this week or next tuesday. after my initial rush of 19 models (11 of which are ogres) I am only painting 3-6 ogres/models a month after that. I'd never be able to make the deadlines with any other army other than one I have a good head start on. |

Yes, I will attempt to keep up with the painting, no promises though. I did this for my orks and became burnt out with painting.

So with the 40k league they did it was a $20 buy in to join the league. Then you if you make all 7 weeks of play you get $15 back, If you miss one week you get $10 back and if you miss 2 weeks you get $5 back. All money not given back goes to a pot and then gets split 50-50 between the best painted and the tournament point winner. Is this correct?
I think we should use the hockey league scoring. 1 pt for a draw, 2 pts for a win 3 points if the win is a massacre and +1 pt if you kill the opponent General in H-T-H (not run him down). We might even be able to play 3 games a night.
I will ask anthony and email Jay about this.
