Alright, enough of the non sense Dragon (if thats possible) and back to topic.
Sunday coming up is 1800 points, This week and the next meeting (2000) will be done by rankings. This meaning that you will most likely play someone that is at least near you in rankings. For example, Tommy will not Play Foser and will most likely play Orville, Terry or Doug. This will depend on who is around during your rounds.
Let me again clarify scoring. At the end of the 2000 points day the scores will be tallied up to get a total. Your lowest week will be dropped. If you have a no show than that will be your week you drop. After that the totals will show us who our winners are. (this is not a discussion, I will not change scoring this late in the league). The top two will be winners.
Painting: Players will display their armies on the tables and have the players walk around and cast votes on who your favorite painted army is. The top two will be winners.

Just thought id announce early that I will not be there tomorrow, and I am withdrawing from the leauge. Ron this has nothing to do with how you ran it at all, for the grandest majority of the leauge I enjoyed playing it and found it to be well run, with the exception of the choose your own mission ( the traitor one) and some unforseen quirks with the 3 table game.
as always GLORY TO CHAOS!!

Here are your results from 1800pts Name/Army/points/ Games left Tommy, Tau, 60, 1 Chris, Dark Angels 56, 1 Terry, Orks 56, 1Norton, Blood Angels 54, 1Orville, Orks 52, 1Gabe, Space marines 49, 1James, Templars 49, 1Zack, Tyranids 48, 1Steve C, Space marines 47, 2Doug, Chaos 46, 2Shortbus, Grey knights 44, 1Brian M, Daemons 44, 2Shuan B, Orks 44, 1Dave, Sisters 40, 2Thomas, Imperial Guard 33 NABrian L, Dreamons 32, 1Gary, Chaos 30, NASteve, Space Wolves 19, NAK-dog, Dark Angels 16, 2Foser, Chaos marines 9, 1NA = has told me they can no longer show up or dropped out. Angar'acks Blood Legion won again against Daves Sisters making them 6-1-1 In 2 weeks (Feb 8th) with 200 more points will be our 2000 point game an the conclusion of the annual Painting league. What we are going to do is start by noon end the first game by 2pm From 2-3pm we are going to judge painting. I would ask that afternoon players come at thos time to display thier armies and the am players end thier games promptly at 2. How painting will be judged is you will pick you 2 favorite armies write them down and hand them in. The person with the most votes will win first place. The 2nd most votes will get 2nd place. What the voters should look for is Theme, Painting and Converstions. From 3-5pm play the last game. 5-6pm Tally up points, decide a winner and 2nd place. Those that win the Tournament setting cannot also win the painting setting. Those in first and 2nd place of the tournement will have thier votes removed from the painting setting done earlier. Votes and scores will be concealed until the end of the tournement when awards will be given out. Question: What if I came in second in the tournement but I got enough votes to come in first in the painting contest? Answer:Congrats you came in 2nd place in the tournament and will be awarded the appropiate prize. This is done to keep the tournament competitve to the last game as you will not know who won painting or the tournement until the last game is played. After that we will have a discussion about the Apoc Escalation league game. See ya there.

1800 points vs. Sean B (Orkz!)
Templar vs. Orkz = Mosh Pit.
My Templar force at 1800 points consisted of the big 15 man squads, a 10 man in the LRC, a venerable dreadnought, the vindicator, and a marshal to keep those leadership scores maxed out.
Sean's Orkz had multiple 20+ man mobs, maybe 3 sluggas and 2 shoota boy mobs. He also bought the trukk of doom carrying the Boss along with nobs and a painboy, finishing off with burnas, flash gitz, and Old Zogwart to make things interesting.
Lining up for a Dawn of War, objective based mission (4 counters), I looked at the number of models hitting the table and knew this was going to be an interesting one. We had both bought massive amounts of infantry and both our armies were kitted out to kill soldiers like it was no one's business. Not surprisingly, that's exactly what ended up happening...
Turn 1
My army stormed the field in force, opting for good field positioning over shooting. The vindicator managed to immobilize itself even with it's dozer blade reroll, and decided the hill it was on was really nice for the rest of the game. Nightfighting denied me any other shooting.
Sean filled a nearby building with boys, claiming the objective within solidly for the greenskins. Old Zoggy and his squad took down a templar or two from the lead crusade squad, provoking a righteous zeal. I chose to take a small fraction of my roll, denying the squad a turn 1 charge.
Turn 2
Fearing my marshal might find himself turned into a squig, he back pedaled into a supporting crusade squad while the emperor's champion stepped up against the oncoming squad to face them down with a crusader squad by his side. The Slayer of Champions rule proved to be mighty useful, as the black knight met the warphead face to face and cut him down with ease. The crusaders ripped down the rest of the squad, securing victory, but opening them up to a barrage of intense counterfire...
The orks filled the triumphant squad with lead, greatly reducing their numbers, meanwhile on the other side of the board, the second front opened up as the nobs/boss/painboy trukk unloaded into a new squad. Combat ensued, and templar died. A lot. Thankfully the emperor's champion stood his ground alone but ready for more as the greenskins closed in...
Turn 3
This turn saw the relief forces closing in as the Templar made a big push back at the orkz. The land raider drove straight into the face of the burna mob and it's guns blazed away, leaving not a boy standing. Meanwhile, the Champion's fight was joined by the marshal with a fresh crusader squad. The beleaguered and bruised squad on the right of the board we reinforced as well as the dreadnought and a new crusade squad joined the fight against the nobs. The nobs held, but not nearly as well thanks to the dreadnought. The Ork Boss tried to kill the dreadnought with his klaw, but could only immobilize the war machine. Meanwhile, with his reinforcements, the marshal, Champion, and the one remaining crusade squad on the left broke the second slugga boy squad, sending them retreating for the board edge.
The Ork turn saw a further push back as a new slugga boy squad joined the fight on the right to assist the nobs. This time the dreadnought scored an important victory, smashing the boss with it's single close combat attack. The right turned into a tar pit, with templar and ork alike grinding each other to a halt.
Turn 4
Finally ready to make their debut, the fifth and final crusader squad unloaded from the LRC, emptying their bolters and bolt pistols into the retreating slugga boy squad from the combat with marshal and EC. Killed past the point of being able to rally, the last three orkz were no longer a threat. The LRC then opened up fully into the flash gitz, causing enough wounds for them to take and fail a break check. Meanwhile the Champion, Marshal, and their squad began working their way to the right to help with the nob combat, though they bogged down by bad terrain rolls.
The Ork Flash Gitz rallied just before hitting the back of the board, consolidating back into place to fire a salvo as the newly placed Templar bolter squad. Their fire was ineffective, and the only shooting casualty occurred in the marshal squad, provoking a righteous zeal move, sending them closer to the nob combat. It turned out their assistance was unneeded, as the dreadnought and the one remaining squad were able to kill enough of the slugga boys, winning the combat and sending the two remaining nobs packing. Finally free, the crusader squad consolidated towards an objective in a nearby building.
Turn 5
The bolter crusade squad moved closer to the flash gitz, claiming an objective and opening up into the orkz, killing enough to force another check, breaking them off the table. The Marshal squad made one last effort to move back, again bogged down by terrain, missing the third objective by less than 2". The LRC took off down the right side of the board towards the final objective, too far away to contest the ork building.
The orks fired back, trying to break the right squad off their objective, but could not kill to force the test. The game ended at five with the templar holding 2 objectives to the orkz 1. Knights for the win.
Overall a great game, a very sporting opponent, and two very fun armies.
Also, it looks like next week, either Gabe or I will be facing Tommy, as the guys in places 2-5 are playing game two. I wonder whether it will be the raven guard or the black templar to face down the Tau and try to stop them?

It will probably be me in the fight since I think you already played him once and I haven't. Of course, this all depends on how Ron decides to organize things.
I'll have fun no matter what. Not like I'm a contender for the top ranking unless the paint penalties cause some major changes. It's all about the morale victories now.

Dont want me getting ready for them?
They are both playing marines! I know that Templars are more fighty, but overkill is overkill. The Facts are that i Wupped DRAGON, Clobbered MajorSOB so bad he visibly cried, Turned That Guy James Black Templar into Bloody smear templar. And ok Fought Norton to a draw. (Go Norton!) If it wasnt for the Bad A$$e$ called Grey Knights i would be marine Undefeated.
That said James if you want more come and get it. RangerDude i look forward to feeding shrike his lightning claws. Angor Prok will personally deliver them.
Its the last week and last game for me guys and a win will put a Fire Warrior Up on the Trophy rack next to last League's winner. (Ron's Orks) So no holding back from me guys I am feeding whoever wants it the buisness end of a Rail Cannon
