I'M NOT AFRAID OF PLAYING ANYONE YOU ARE! you are not afraid of playing anyone that i am ?? of course your not afraid of playing the person that I am I will be playing them and you will be playing someone else, possibly Doug who you fear (admit it!) THE TRUTH IS, IF YOU PLAY "EVIL RED ORK" YOU WOULD ONLY PLAY FOR A TIE, OR USE YOUR WIZARDRY TO AVOID A LOSE.  BUT IF YOU'RE FORCED TO PLAY SOMEONE ELSE, NOW YOU HAVE TO PLAY FOR A VICTORY JUST LIKE HE WILL. What does EvilRedOrk have to do with my game? I wont play him anyway, I only play game one and he only plays game two. In fact i wish him luck because i dont want a dirty power armor army(like you) in the top places. I don't see how my opponent will make me not want to play for a win. I cant point and laugh at people like you unless i beat you first!! (Which i did!!) Lastly read the codex there are no wizardry among the Greater Good, in fact we have no psychers at all! we barely even register in the warp. |

Proof that dragon is barely literate. He's spending all this time complaining that Tommy shouldn't play one of the top contenders, and yet he has failed to notice both on the schedule and in previous posts that the highest placed people Tommy can play next week are James or I, niether of us really being a contender for the top spot. So basically, he's carying on about nothing since what he wants is what will happen anyway and it has nothing to do with him.
By the way dragon, it's "lose", not "loose".

Dragon, Im going to stop PRETENDING that I actually like you. Keep in mind DRAGON that this league was set up to PAINT.
Since you are obsessing over who wins, I guess your painting skills are arent up to snuff. If you spent as much time painting as you do whining, you would even put courtney's skills to shame.

All I know is that someone mentioned my name. That's right guys I got you all scared! For once I am playing an army that has a fair chance with nearly any army in the league. I have had some exciting games and I am real glad that I have played. I will be even happier after next week when i crush my remaining two opponents. Ron, I don't really care who you pair me against next week, all I know is in a one on one brawl you just can't beat Papa Nurgle! Bring it on you sniveling cowards!

Your opponents were set monday night before this rant was started and they arnt going to change (with the exception of Zacks opponent, becuase Zack wont be around that day).
Its all done by relative positions and ranking in the tournament part.
Now I may be the only capable person to give tommy his first loss in the league I dont think it would be fair on my part as a ringer army to play tommy. Seeing as I have nothing to lose by losing or winning a game with Tom, It would not sit right with me If I determined my own Leagues winner. Thus it will be his opponent next sunday that will and not me.

To be fair i have lost to both Orklord Snorville and Shortbus in weeks 1 & 2 of the league respectivly. The important thing is I avoided any embarasing losses to people like DRAGON or Doug |

Mindless drones?
You mean a person thats worried about point totals and match up for the end game and a person that only wants games to be about mathhammer. Someone that cant adapt to change or cope with diffrent scenarios. An infexable person that wants to only play the same mission "Kill All".
Would that be a Mindless Drone. I would think so. No who is that?

First I want to thank all that participated and stuck it out till the end. There are some great painted armies out there now. I am glad that I had so many in attendance, double what I had last year and hopefully we keep this event growing with each year. I enjoy running it and seeing the new armies get painted.
Unfortunately it seems like I left my cards at boldos so I don't have the points and all with me. I will see if I can get them or if anyone see the cards laying around could you get them to me asap.
But the winners were:
Over All: Tommy - $125
2nd Over All: Terry - $75
Best Painted: James - $125
2nd Best Painted: Doug - $75
*There was a tie in painting which was decided by over all points.

I have to say, walking around the store and seeing all the armies lined up was truly impressive. The fact that it was almost a four way tie for first is testament to how much all our skills have improved over the last year. There wasn't a single completely painted army I saw yesterday that did not grab my attention.
It was also very cool to see how the level of craftsmanship was applied across the board to a very wide range of color schemes and armies.
I can't imagine how I can raise the bar anymore, but you have all inspired me to try. Thanks to Ron for running the league and thanks to all my opponents for a great series of games.
