Less talk and "can we test out our 400 point list" BS!
I am on pace to have nearly my entire army painted before the league starts. How about the rest of you slack jawed idiots? Any of your remember where the fingerpaint box is or was that buried in the closet under all your Xbox cords and games. Any of you guys quit the crack addition...errr, Warcraft addition long enough to know what a paintbrush feels like in your hand? Yes biatches I am calling you all out! If I can paint an army in a few short weeks there is no reason in the world that you cannot, well except the obvious reason that I am better than you all!!!!

Hhaha, thanks doug. I'm sure i could have a nurgle army painted in time too.
I could just read Kemp's "how to prime, Ink and Drybrush in 2 easy steps!" and be on my way.

Steps to painting Nurgle, by Doug.
Step 1: Take a nuts, the most foul, ass burning nuts possible produces the best troops.
Step 2: Wipe ass with white primered nurgle marine. Continue until you run out of assembled marines.
Step 3: Matte varnish Nurgle marines.

I just had a c4 sighting, he had a brush in his hand and was painting what looked like to be a single guardmen, He was sweating up a storm and swearing his head off but it actually looked like he was painting. Could this be a sign of the apocalypse?

I know there was a question from someone concerning bases. I will do what i did last year. Some people like to base thier army wholey when its finished, I have no problem with that, I know I have my own painting techniques that may seem a little odd, like painting arms and heads seperatelty.
So what we are going to do is this. The base must be at least painted, doesnt need to be flocked or based UNTIL the final day where you must present a full based/flocked army. If you cannot present a fully flocked/based army that is painted, of 2000 points and of the army you entered with, then 2 points will be deducted from each day you played previously, just as if you did not have a fully painted army for each week you played. Note this is a little diffrent from last years.
Example...Doug plays 9 games scoring a total 27 points (all wins!) he then displays his army on the final day and a whole unit is not based...the then loses 18 points leaving him with only 9 points and is disqualified from the painting competition (becuase you need a fully painted/based army)
Keep in mind this is a Painting League more so than a tournament, thats why the penalty is so high on the painting. We want fully painted armys here, not unprimed plastic ones.
Oct 5th is creeping up on us, lets get a move on. ;D

Things change, I probably won't be doing the league now. might change. Either way I'm still painting my orks for the GT and hopefully an apocalypse game some time next year.

I'm going to throw this out here and it may be insensitive but we need an update.
I understand Shawn and Ron had a disagreement on Sunday. I'm not sure of the details and I don't even want to discuss it on the board.
What i DO want to know, is will the painting league still be starting on the 5th?
Do changes need to be made?
Will Ron still be running this?
Ron, I'm sorry to ask these questions and I'm not trying to say that anyone need take it over, I just am really looking forward to this event.
