I will be able to go well over 2500 points. So as we egt closer we can work out some points if the loyalists want to increase also.

So are we gonna have meetings or whatever for this game? Also if anyone on the chaos side wants to go higher I can match up you up to 4000 points. I should have no problem going as high as 3500. Not to single you out but I am dead serious about the armies in winter assault being painted. I would rather see 2000 points of painted marines than 3500 points of glued crap. Please keep this in mind. As for team list, I know from this post who is interested in playing. As the event draws closer we will finalize teams. The best thing to do if you are truly interested is to keep assembling and painting your force. I will include players who have done what I have asked, that is those who have painted and assembled their forces in preparation to play this game. |

Finished my first 400 points last night! Some is already painted, but not by me, so I'm not using them in the escalation league. They are painted well, so I will use them for the Apocalypse game. They are gifts, so I'll not repaint them.
Starting the changes I'm planning for 600 points tonight and painting every day/night until probably winter assault / Daboyz GT.
But I will give updates to points painted closer to the start of this.

Just wanted to check the waters and get people opinions... Would anyone planning on playing Winter Assault have any issues with me bringing a Banelord of Khorne Titan?It is a 2500 point Warlord class titan for Chaos. The Datasheet is an official Datasheet from the Games Workshop Apocalypse section. I know a few people have Baneblades and Warhound titans and heavy weapon units etc, so there will hopefully be enough firepower to bring this thing down. And I wanted people to know in advance. i wanted to ask now so i could have time to finish painting it I will also have more units than just the Titan so hopefully an Imperial player can match points, so i can use more than just 1 model.  |

I will try and get more pictures soon. Just trying to plan my painting. If players have issues with a Titan in the winter assault game I would like to know ahead of time so I can work on painting my other tanks and stuff instead. If no one has any issues with a large titan then I can finish painting it and that way the other players have a heads up of what they will be fighting against.

We need to start paying more attention to this game. If you think about it it's not very far off and we don't even have definite teams. Maybe we should get those teams up and sometime in the near future have a meeting to clarify rules and then split into teams to discuss army lists and tactics. I am posting this because the last apocalypse game we had was not organized at all and I would not want this game to be as unorganized as the last one was (even though it was still a blast).
Team as I understand them right now are
Imperials-
Me with demonhunters
James with Black Templars
Chris with dark angels
Tommy with ultramarines
Terry with Imperial Fists (although he said he was getting burned out on these guys)
Chaos-
Brian with khrone
Norton with slaanesh
Doug with nurgle
Dacius with black legion?
Brian Lillie with demons
By no means necessary are these the final teams.
If everyone on the list could please post to say if they will play and if they will indeed play that army. Also if you weren't on the list and you think you should be please post.
Doug I am not trying to take away from you leading this but we haven't heard anything about it in a long time.
