FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME TRYING TO CLOSE THIS SYRACUSE DEAL, YOU COULD HAVE HAD A NORTH EASTERN AMERICAN TOUR. BUT THERE IS A POSITIVE SIDE, RON & SHAUN AGREE ON SOMETHING, POSTING STARS HAVE GONE UP, AND MISS SPELLED WORDS, PUNCTUATION AND CREATIVE WRITING HAVE IMPROVED. GOOD LUCK, I HOPE YOU GUY'S GET TO PLAY BEFORE THE COWS COME HOME, (THAT WOULD BE AUGUST).

That proposal doesnt address the issues brought up earlier...Like the number of players, What armies can be used, how many of each type of army? ect...I mean we could easily show up with 15-20 people on any given day. Do they want marinehammer? I dont want to see eldarhammer either. They proposed 1 of each army, do they still want that? We can no longer do "1 of each army" since you all insisted that painting be included. I believe that it was communicated to your team leader that we could possibly field a team of up to 11 players.

Isn't there only room for 10 players at most in the GW store?
Where could we run a tournament with 11 on each side!?
I'm in favor of dropping the painting score to allow more variety, if that's what it comes down to...

Yea. I know that we want a painting score, but I also don't want to play 3 games straight against marines.
All I meant was that if we must lighten or drop the significance of the painting score in order to prevent marinehammer, I wouldn't mind.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. Diversity would have meant unpainted armies. By making it painted only, it means so far we have a trio of marine armies, a pair of eldar armies, a tau army, a guard army, and a nidz army for our players who have the fully painted army thing going on.
Isn't that diverse enough? Sure, it isn't chaos-marines-necrons-orks-tau-eldar-guard-nidz-demon hunters-witch hunters-movie marines-alien hunters(boy are they busted)-demiurg-hrud-squats-kroot-lost and the d**ned-13th company but it isn't oh look 8 carbon copy armies since the 3 marines lists have different traits, etc.

Yeah that is fine. I am sure we will have some diversity. I know most people have some other non-marine army ready to go. Unfortunately I only have my Blood Angels, so if I get to play that is who you will see from me.

Looks fine for diversity to me. Not sure I liked the idea of one of each anyway since it would be forcing some players to play something they may not have wanted to anyway.

SANGUINARY, YOU CAN PLAY ANY SPACEMARINE TRAIT ARMY WITH THE MODELS YOU HAVE, DON'T LET THE COLOR RED STOP YOU. AN IF YOU TAKE "NO MERCY,NO RESPITE WITH OR WITHOUT "BLESSED BE THE WARRIORS" YOU HAVE AN ARMY THAT PLAYS LIKE "BLOOD ANGELS" WITHOUT DEATH CO. ANYWAYS. JUST A THOUGHT, HAVE A NICE DAY.

I dont know, Im sure we could do the one of everything fully painted, but since thats not going to be a pressed issue, its a moot point.
11 per team? no problem.
Thanks for answering the questions. Next is to work on an exact date so we can get the ball rolling on selecting our team as we may have to limit who plays.

At the risk of getting off topic, SHUT THE HELL UP CRAIG!!!!!! You have no idea what you are talking about. The more I read your post, the more Brian's actually make sence. That being said...
I still want variety and painting as do all DaBoyz. This event wont happen until May which is plenty of time to get an army painted. Ron, you are the example, if you can paint an orc army in a few months, any other army is possible. As for the number of players, I thought we agreed to a playoff if the interest exceeded the number we could field. I am for sending the best players we have, if I am one of them fine, if not that is fine too.

You set it up how you can Doug. You are in charge of this. We have your back (even if we don't agree with everything ;D)

When we get the number set from Syracuse, I think the best way to do it is have a first of the month tourney, or some type of round robin competetion between excess armies. I do like the idea of 1 Orc, 1 Tau, 1 Nid, 1 Eldar, etc with a few "free" spots, but I do think it is impportant to represent most of the armies if possible.

yea, i like the idea of representing a lot of armies but still having a kind of "qualifier" because i know we have more than 10 people at our disposal for this.
