Regardless, Brian, They are an option in your book that no one takes. They are a fine option with thier advantages and disadvantages. No one takes them but they are a viable choice for a Necron army, in fact its what the Ctan want to evolve the necrons into...why dont more of them appear in armies?
Its not the unit that sucks....

Sorry to get off on the Paraih topic but I happen to agree with Brian. They are dreadfully slow and only useful in hand to hand. Any player that is good will shoot the hell out of that expensive unit before they can get into an effective range to do anything. With no transport option available (Paraihs cannot use the monolith or Veil of Time to move) they are stuck walking across the board at the rate of 6" a turn. Without screening ( now possible only with Tomb Spyders without Syracuse' "special house rules" and use of terrain) a unit of Pariahs is a huge point sink that will be shot to ribbons before ever coming anywhere close to justifying its points. JMO, agreed??
West- I am concerned as well cause Dragon is making more sence to me also. Time for that mental health exam....

You mean like Sluggas that walk?
You mean like Sluggas that walk?
Same could be said about raptors
And you Have to justify a unit by how well it makes its points back?
YOu know what else is a points sink? Bikes
