Ok here is low down. I hope you like it.
DATE: October 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2009
Place: Frederick Douglass Hall, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY Campus map available at
www.rochester.edu/ Cost: $25 with pre-registration, $30 after 09/01/09; $40 at the door
Points: 1850
Five Rounds (three on Saturday and two on Sunday)
• Armies will consist of 1850 points using the standard force organization chart.
• The Warhammer 40,000 5th Edition Rules will be used.
• The Independent National Warhammer 40,000 Tournament FAQ V2.2 will be used, except for the Imperial Guard section.
• Forge World/Imperial Armor units are not allowed, however, players may still use their Forge World models to represent a unit from their codex.
• Individual units that may have multiple rules versions will follow the rules presented in that army's codex. Yes, this means a Black Templar Land Raider will function differently than a standard Space Marine Land Raider. Please take the time to review the relevant GW/DaBoyz FAQ's/House Rules for clarifications.
• Special/Unique/Named Characters may be fielded if their individual rules allow them to be used in armies of 1,850 pts or less.
• The 'What You See Is What You Get' (WYSIWYG) rule is in effect. This means all units must be easily identifiable as the particular codex choice they represent and that any and all weapons/options taken for a unit or character must be clearly represented on the model(s).
• You must provide access to your own rules (which include the actual codex used for your army), dice, templates, pen/pencil, calculator, or anything else you might need during the course of regular play.
• A separate printed army list is required for the judges and each of your opponents.
• In order to keep the tournament running on schedule, when time is called for a round, all player's must drop their dice and stop playing - no exceptions. Because of this, please be aware of the time left in the round and do not start a turn you cannot finish. A hard warning will be issued with 15 minutes remaining in the game. No Game Turn shall be started after this warning is issued, period.
• If illegal units or rules violations are found in a player's list, at a minimum, the models in violation will be removed from all subsequent play. Tournament points may be deducted and award eligibility may be forfeited. Please use the feedback form on this website to ask any questions you or your club may have regarding rules issues or legal units in advance!
• DaBoyz Tournament Judges' and Officers' rulings are final and arguments or poor conduct by players will not be tolerated. DaBoyz reserves the right to remove players from the tournament without providing a refund.
