Personally, as one of the players who played against Brian, it wasn't really so bad. I wasn't thrilled by it, but I think that was mostly because it was the second necron army in a row for me, and I was a little bored.

First off, let me thank Chumby for banging the rust off these boards and actually getting some people posting. Whether or not we agree, you have stated you point clearly and debated your position well. You also seem somewhat open to a different point of view although you are having trouble understanding the challenges that would be associated with playing anything but the absolute best army that you could field. Hang in there my friend, we both may come away learning something before this is all done.
Now on to you Skyth...
I didn't start off hating on you, rather the opposite. I was happy to see a new face and play a game with you. You however being the poor sport that you are ( yes, that was an insult, keep track there are plenty to follow ) took it personally when I beat you with my "grossly overpowered" Sisters army when you were still playing old book Chaos. Still I didn't have anything against you but your whining and b1tching from there began to take a toll. Yes you did play in the 3rd DaBoyz GT, that fact you have correct. You are dead wrong about my son's army. Yes he played 2 Monoliths, ( you played 2 Fire Prisms!) but he played 50 Warriors along with the rest of his army, which included Pariahs, Flayed Ones and several other choices. How many Guardians did you play, 2 squad, close to the minimum? My son took 5 troop choices back in 4th edition when troops weren't as necessary as they are in 5th edition, yes that is the current 40K edition, one that neither I nor anyone else other than your imaginary friends have seen you play! Oh, and yes there was a discussion about my son's comp score, you are 100% correct about that but Zero percent correct about any of the following facts. I underscored my son's army and it was the other judge who convinced me that I was being overly harsh since I didn't want the appearance of nepotism. I scored him lower and during reconciliation with Tommy we agreed his score should be a point or two higher than I originally thought it should be. As to YOUR score I most likely overscored you since you then were making an attempt to fit in and play, and I felt scoring you with what you really deserved would have further soured your already bitter attitude. You finished where you finished because you are not a great player, paint is not your friend, and most people would rather be waterboarded that to have to play a game with you! Yes, you won worst sportsman all by yourself, neither Tommy or I had any influence on that, just the 5 people that you tortured by forcing them to play you.
Every time someone on this board dares to criticize your deluded takes on the rules and such, you immediately start crying that they are attacking you and not what you have said. You are incapable of civil discussion and for some reason you go through life with a chip on your shoulder thinking that everyone in the world is out to get you. Here's a clue, they aren't!
Do the world a favor and stop posting here because every time someone new reads this forum they might mistake your thoughts as ones shared by the rest of the players here. Another clue, they aren't.
Again, repeat after me, "Warhammer Fantasy is a good game, people there like me!"
Don't give me a reason to collect a WAAC Fantasy army (hmmm Deamons would work nicely...) and ruin that game for you come 8th edition...

That's a Necron army for you The army book needs a little more variety in it.

. You however being the poor sport that you are ( yes, that was an insult, keep track there are plenty to follow ) took it personally when I beat you with my "grossly overpowered" Sisters army when you were still playing old book Chaos. Actually, I took issue with your hypocracy. You harp on comp and differentiation, yet every squad you took had the same vet sgt...Book plus evisorator. Plus the token inquisitor so you can take an assasin, in addition to the rules bending (Firing a flamer into an ongoing combat is poor form even if I didn't find the rule until the next day.) I'd say the you were the poor sport. Not to mention, I was playing with an army I didn't design and I didn't really care for how it played. You're the one that constantly whines and female doges. Hypocracy again? Yep. First off, 2 monoliths makes a nasty list regardless. Also 2 Prisms is an entirely different animal than 2 Monoliths. a Prism is easier to damage, and one shot that beats AV 12 makes it not able to complete it's primary mission(shooting) for at least one turn. AV 14 living armor plus the ability to keep on doing what makes it nasty even if it's shaken. Yeah, no comparison there.
How many Guardians did you play, 2 squad, close to the minimum?
How many guardians would you find in a themed Swordwind army? Funny...Real funny. I do not resort to ad hominum. That is ALWAYS yours and Rons favorite pastime. You can't make a post in reference to me without some form of personal attack. I typically don't lower myself to your level. Follow your own advice. I can hold a civil conversation without attacking the other person. From reading the boards, a person would think DaBoyz are just stuckup asshats that are more concerned with bullying people that enjoy playing differently than actually having fun. It's amazing the number of times I've read on these boards that the only reason someone lost was because of the other person's army. You can do what you want. I happen to play for fun. A game against you would not be fun. If I lost, I'd have to listen to you brag about it. If I won, you'd just blame my army.

just as an aside, i'd rather play against a necron army with 2 monoliths than a 2 prism eldar list, any day of the week.
And if this is the 4th edition we were talking about, prisms were SO MUCH HARDER to kill than a monolith its not funny.... can only glance them, and even then you had holo fields so only 1/36 of my glances killed you. And you don't have a weakness like phase out to make your army easy to kill.
monoliths NEVER make a necron list good... the best necron lists are basically destroyer spam with min troop choices. monoliths are overcosted for what they do, which is practically nothing most of the time.

Guys the flaming and insults on a public forum like that make the entire forum and group look bad. I would make the recomendation that you either take it to PM so as not to air your dirty laundry or just to drop it.
I admit I am an outsider here for the time being but that looks really bad and does an injustice to your group.

Fishboy, you should understand that alot of the post here with the flaming and insults back and forth are just they way we interact with one another. This group is without question a great bunch of guys and a pleasure to hang out with. The people here who get it know that the game is just an excuse to share an afternoon or weekend with your friends.
Skyth is a whole different animal. He has always been somewhat of a pariah and never really a part of the group. He prefers to skulk in the shadows and occasionally share his wisdom with us. I freely admit I enjoy taking shots at him from time to time since he takes all this toy soldier crap far too personally. He is entirely unreflective of this group, just ignore him kinda like that screaming baby that always seems to show up at Walmart whenever I do my shopping there.
Oh an by the way, I would win if we played a game of square bases, not just because I could outplay you with an equally powered army, but because when I won it would give you more stuff to whine about.
You see its a slow day here and irritating Skyth makes the day go by rather nicely...

Says something about the group when they allow admitted Trolls like Doug and Ron to speak for the group.
