My names Al Gleason - I'm the defacto head of the Blade and Bolter Boyz 40K club in Nashville, TN. I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple of da'boyz over the years (how you doing Shaun). You guys have also stolen our Beer Wench (Joe Johnson) from us!
A few buddies of mine in the Wrecking Crew started talking about a ETC type tournament for the clubs in the US. I've talked with Dicehead Games and Grand Adventures in the TN area and looks like they will be hosting/sponsoring/running this tourney.
So - we are in the process of getting the word out - and would love you to get team together to represent. Wouldn't be a proper team tournament without da'boyz. Right now we are thinking 6 man teams - same type format as ETC. Dates TBD.
Just getting the initial word out. If you have interest - let me know and I'll make sure I keep you in the loop. My email is alglea@comcast.net.
Best Regards,
Al Gleason

Also interested allthough prolly not enough seniority to make the cut.
Any policy on more than one team from a club. Would we have form a new club to send another Rochester team or would there be an establishment date requirment?

More to come on the specifics - just getting started. Shane/Mel/Chris will be getting the details together. I'm sure it will come down to number of tables available with a few clubs having right of refusal for a spot - then other team spots being opened as needed.

Hi
Provided Canucks are allowed to attend, we could put a team together, starting with the current Adepticon Team Tournament Champs.
Send me a pm and we can get in touch via e-mail.
Cheers, Nate

Right now we are thinking about the following changes to the ETC rules:
2K points total SC allowed 1 mission that is played each round (this one is up for debate - it seems a little boring - but it also lets each team know up front the mission and the thought is it would test the generals out a bit more- interested in any opinions).

Ok - looks like this is going to happen. Talked to Shane today - he's working with Sparks to understand the format - but the ATC (similar to the ETC) Club challenge is going to happen in May in Chattanooga. Shane will be advertising it at Adepticon this year. They went with May since they already had a venue and location set for the Siege convention that Dicehead sponsors each year. So for year one - the ATC will be a part of the Siege. Assuming that it's successful - I think Shane is looking at Nashville or Atlanta in the future - but want's to see interest in it first. Here's linky to website: www.diceheadsiege.com/Pretty sure that Greg Sparks and the Toledo team are going to work to make it. Talked with some of the WC and they are interested - as well as BOLS, Battle for Salvation club - and a few others. Our Nashville Blade and Bolter Boyz will be willing to put beer's on the line to get 'da Boyz to show (Shaun - beers buddy - on me!) For a small fee I'll even rent you Fishboy....he can fetch you guys beers between games and all..... ;D

Since Aaron got nids, I will take grey knights or space wolves.
If you get Mel to wear the Sister of Battle outfit you will get more people to come. It is worth the price of admission.
I will have to check the rules listed on the website.
