I think I can make this happen for me as well....however I am starting to feel like a sleeper hehehe Wow....I think I took them to a negative since the starting point was already so low hehe I can represent Eldar or Marines if need be. Just let me know. I don't think I will have enough DE to represent.... And as far as Al is concerned if you have ANY asian blood in you then watch out!! He has won the "most asian men kissed" at the Kalm last 2 years with plans to win again this year.

There is a reason I have not introduced them to Gimli hehehe. You just wish I was an asian frog heheh.
On a serious note is anyone taking the lead on setting up a team?

I'd say now there is. Find out the details of how many members, armies, etc and put it together Joe.

I'd always be willing to participate if there is a need for more players to go down (as long as it is mid-late May I should be good to go)
I'd be able to play Vanilla marines (Crimson Fists) or have my Jump Pack Blood Angels army done by then.

I think at present they are looking at 5 man teams - each player must have unique codex (ala ETC) 2K points - special characters allowed.
Currently Shane is thinking one team per club - but I would think if you had ten guys willing to drive down from NY he might be willing to allow multiple. Think he's really worried about our fairly local club that has around 30 members spamming the thing....

If any of you guys know of other clubs that might be interested - put the word out to them.
Especially if you know Marc Parker.....would be good to get the WC there.....

Okay consider this the official start of asking who can do this. I can make it and I can play 2k of Eldar or Salamanders/marines. I think Aaron said he can come and will play 2k bugs. Be forewarned. This is my old stomping ground and I can tell you a lot of these guys play pretty hard lists. No comp here so think more like an aard boyz. It looks like it is $25 entry to the event but I am not sure if that included the tourny itself. Paint and Comp is not scored but WYSIWYG is REQUIRED. One special character per army, one army per team per codex. 5 team members all with different codex armies at 2k ea. 6 rounds, 4 on Sat 2 on Sun. Here is the link: www.diceheadsiege.com/2673.htmlEdit: I will drive to this event. I will have my family in tow in a second vehicle and will continue to Atlanta after the event to see my family. This means I wont have room for people but will have room to transport your armies so you do not have to ship them if you choose to fly. I will bring them back with me when I come back from Atlanta.

This is the last chance for a team announcement. If I do not have a full team by weeks end I will bow out of the NY teams and join a team from the TN area.
Last Call....

Sounds like fun, but Nashville, TN is an odd place to fly to from Rochester. Expensive tickets and lodging ftl. Not sure if I could justify 500+ just with air fair and room and board.

I have a team from Nashville that I will probably captain since I can not get a full 4 others to commit. I would however really like to put some thought into this for next year. I would love to see DaBoyz represented. I know of many clubs going to this including the WC. We would be the only that I know of from the NE.
So I will start developing a team for next years event once I get all the details.
We still have a day or two left if I had the commitment to do a team here for this year but it would have to be pretty fast and confirmed.
