Orville, not my list but an example. However I do want to play Courtney's genestealers when I get my wych cult finished. I think that army could go toe to toe with his genestealers anyday.
BTW, Norton is right.....
Brian I love you but,
Shut Up!!!!!

You have an unusal opinion of fluff. Are you sure you dont mean cheese? Couldn't agree more, just cause you can take it doesn't mean you should, IMO.

It all boils down to one thing...
A Space Wolf army should have Space Wolves in it... not just a bunch of arcane flying doohickey thingies with big guns on em and the minimum requred space wolves.

People, you mixxing up what fluff is. Its not the justification for bringing that uber tooled up "thing". Its the HISTORY, the FUN, the REASON for playing that army/game.
You Play ultra marines because they are blue OR they are the upstanding Marine, the epitomy of what a marine should be. YOu play them because you they are good because of the stories behind the charatcers or the army. Thats Fluff, history or the stories of Robute Gulliman and his marines.
Do not mix REAL fluff with a feeble attempt at Justification of Cheese that you take in your armies. We all can reconize what a cheese army is.
Wrong, that army is tough as nails to beat. You are almost garunteed to get Siren. The YOu cant shoot me or assualt me psycic power and on both characters its nasty. Both are icons so your deamons will come in. Legally a Emporers Children army so the come in on 3s the second turn.

My appologies i didnt see the psychic powers.
This means some armies would have much harder times.
Sisters of battle, Correctly done Demon Hunters,Khorne marines all would rip it up if properly equipped as they can ignore Siren
Others you are correct will have issues.
However the acceptance stands, pick an army i can beat this.

Word to Tommy, I realize you recognized your mistake, but shouldn't you have felt something not quite being right the minute you realized you were agreeing with Brian? Back at you Dragon, I am still trying to understand your take on fluff. Seems there isn't a problem with tooling out an army with fluffy specialized troops, but you seem to then have a problem with adding special characters. I'm not picking on you, just trying to understand. My question is why not aloow special characters because if you are going to allow powerhouse tooled up crap in doesn't seem consistent to block special characters? I would argue that special characters constitute the uber fluffy unit. Thoughts?

Shaun, If you are playing by the rules, you will not turbo-boost forward from behind cover. Read the BBB!! Must go in a straight line not passing through any cover!

Brian, you really need to think about what you are saying before you say it.
You do not have to go in a straight line when you turbo boost.
You can't go through cover, which I never have done.
There is nothing about how you can't turbo boost if you start behind cover.
The Turbo Boost entry says:
****EDITED BY ADMIN Read it yourself- we should not be reposting copywritten rules here End Admin Edit****
That is the entire entry. Perhaps in Brianese, the rules are interpretted differently. So in terms you can understand: SNAP, YOU'VE BEEN SERVED!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and happy holidays.

Normally I am confused by what comes out of Birans mouth, because Iknows he doesnt think before speaking. But what relevance does his last post have to do with the topic at hand?
Brian Stay on topic if your going to post!

Ok I think this god compex has gotten to your head. We have ALWAYZ discussed rules online and quoted them from the book. Besides they are allowed to be copied if used for game purposes and not re-distribution, which, clearly, we are not doing here.

To be honest, the one who told me I had to go in a straight line was Tom.
