Okay, I don't know why we're still talking about the titan. I said I would match him, so the discussion's over. What we need to be talking about is when this thing is going to happen, details, etc.

These people signed a couple months ago when we were discussing the game.

Well, unfortunately, Tommy is on the fence now, and Ron said he'd go khorne daemons, too; not to mention I think Brian's gone hiatus, though I seriously hope not.
So, I think Doug needs to actually start looking at this thread again and start getting some teams, dates, and make a couple things official.

That would be correct I will be playing my Khorne Deamons in this.
According to Doug as of the last time I spoke to him at the last escalation League meeting, teams were not set in stone and no date was made but looking at Feburary.

What we need to be talking about is when this thing is going to happen, details, etc. because we should never dismis a constructive conversation which this still is. as for exact details other than a date its way to early to decide this. The last thing we need is to make teams have people start to talk tactics only to have three or four people drop out. last apocalypse was sept 6 and we had 4 people dropping out in late july or beyond. We have alway been lienent on how many can play and im almost positive that if you want to play you will be able to. I always like seeing you show up and playing. Adding more will not be a problem.

I will say, though, that there are a couple of things within that statement I don't really appreciate nor should be here at the boards:
A.) Considering that I'm on your team now (apparently, provided Brian still shows up, which I'm seriously doubting right about now; truly unfortunate, but realistic), that was a very cynical statement. If anything, encouragement should be in order. If this thing is as powerful as people say, then you should be thanking me that I'm going to try and match it.
B.) The tone I perceived, as far as I know (and please correct me if I'm wrong), isn't welcome on this thread. Go ahead and bash me in the Smack Talk section of this forum; not only do I expect it, but somewhat welcome it. It keeps us on the boards at least (for some). Besides, the last time some of us took that tone in an apocalypse game, it ended up with consequences we didn't necessarily want.
So, with that being said; just come out and say it; either you welcome my involvement, or just tell me to shove off. Either way, just don't skirt the issue. I'm a big boy, I think I can handle whatever you have to say.

shortbus' comment was not unfounded though, to my knowledge you have no painted imperial army, nor a particularly painted army at all. Neither do I but that is not in question here.
that and that you have not informed said teammate about what you plan on building to duel with brian's titan.
these two things lead shortbus to be in a certain not unreasonable ammount of skepticism at your claims of fighting a warhound class titan.
NOW, that said i have talked with truedemon (shaun) about your colaborative effort to fight this titan. To my understanding you plan on building a few baneblades (hopefully shadowswords, as the normal baneblade will do almost nothing to the titan). These will go a long way to stopping it.
One last note, i am confident in brian playing in this game. he has been working on his chaos since last year and they look great, it would be a right shame for him to not play.

Very true. I do see now where some of the tone of the message did come from, so I suppose an apology is in order. I'm sorry, I should have posted what I plan on bringing to oppose, you are absolutely right.
Earlier, Brian posted that he wanted to bring more then just the Titan. I was going to wait until Brian got back on the boards to say that I would try to match him as close to the army he would want to bring as possible.
Now, with that said, I will say what I'm going to try and bring;
I do plan on bringing Baneblades, but I will have the 'Steel Fury'(?) formation, and I will bring a Shadowsword. Those are my first priorities. However, if those get done in time, then I am going to work on a warhound. So, ideally, my force will consist of a steel fury formation, a single shadowsword, and a Warhound. More than enough imho to bring down a Warlord. I'll have at least twelve lascannons and the volcano cannon to boot. Plus, I'll have my other players. I don't think his warlord will be much of a problem.
If any are worried about time, not only do we have about a month and a half to do this, but I don't have to go back to college until January 30th...I think. I know it's very late in January, so I'll be sitting at home doing nothing for a month, which should give me more than ample time to get these done by.
