NECRONS NEED AP1 or AP2 SHOOTING THINGS, JUST TO HAVE CHANCE AGAINST MONSTROUS CREATURES, OR AT LEAST AN OPTION TO HAVE THEM. AND NECRON LORDS SHOULD HAVE INITIATIVE 5 JUST LIKE MUST OTHER ARMIES.
THE NECRON CODEX IS SOLID AS IS, THATS ALL THAT NEEDS CHANGING. TYRANIDS & NECRONS ARE WELL DESIGNED IN THE CODEX DEPARTMENT, FIX THE OTHERS ELDAR, ORKS & IMPERIAL GUARD.

You got it all wrong Dragon! The codex that needs redesigning is whichever army I am playing at the time. And undoubtable what I am sure it will need is...
1) More variety 2) Cheaper troops 3) More strength 4 and 5 troops 4) More heavy weapons 5) Rending 6) Over-the-top special characters (Nothing pisses off the Dragon more than special characters!!!) 7) Better wargear etc...

Not to stray off topic but,
Necrons dont need to be redone right now. Nothing of thiers has changed from one edition to the next. They only got advatages...ie Turbo boosting Destroyer. (Notice this can be said of the tau, not only in edition to edition, but codex to codex as well)
Granted they need another troop choice or two, but they dont need to replace any units just because people dont know how (or even try) to use them.
The way your going about it your just saying "Hey, these suck because I cannot use them "guud". Lets replace them with something better! If this were true of every codex (which there are some things that are really no good or has limited uses) then lets replace the Kai gun, the Ether Lance, Thousand sons, Defiler, Dreadnoughts, Furys, Flesh hounds, Chosen, Havocs ect....Oh Choas needs to be Next!! Chaos should be redone next not Eldar or Orks Or NECRONS.
Doesnt that sound a little foolish?

Here is my reasoning. 1) Ponderous does nothing anymore since skimmers that move 6 inches or less just land and the monolith only moves 6 inches. Right ponderous means nothing anymore, did it do alot before? they gave everybody ponderous for free.Except none of these units are bad and Your poll determined that Pariahs are actually a GOOD unit. Your lack of creativity is a reason for a new codex?And just so ya know Tom, Witchhunters are NOT over the top!!! Ask my dad. They can be good, but they are only toughness 3. can my basic guard have armor 3 like every other army? How about rifles that can blow up any tank like every other army.
Actually Can necrons be leasership 8 like most other armies?, how about armor 4 or less like most other armies?, toughness 3 like most other armies? When upgraded to basically ride a jet bike still have the same base toughness like most other armies?....

Well thats 1 tactic, sadly the only one you think is any use, but still just one of many tactics (categorically not the only thing he is useful for.) Not many other leaders have multi shot ap3 weapons and strength 5 power swords (no others, in fact)
Want someone beefier in HTH than pick a ctan, oh is a ctan not as fast or does not have some other rule?, Gee darn my imperial guard lueutenant is not toughness 8 either."Bullnuts!" (cough cough). Well tau have Rail cannons, plasma guns and Fusion Blasters. so 3
how many do Necrons have? Heavy Gauze cannons, Particle wips and the Lightning Arc (And dont give me a that one doesnt count) so 3
does that look like the same number anyone?
How many guns in the tau can destroy the necrons biggest vehicle, uhm 2 How many guns in necrons can destroy Tau's biggest vehicle...?

You make it sound like you can only take two guns on your roster to destroy his vehicles. Yeah you have two different gun types, but you can have LOTS of them!
I don't have the new tau book with me at this moment, How many rail rifles can you have... or marker lights with missles... i forget?
