40K for Men Tourney - 7 rounds 1 Night

Just pay two at the register and get a receipt. Have them ring it up as an event. That should be fine. I have a preregistration form on one of the computers too. Just leave your name if the guy acts like he doesn't know what your talking about.

Wife was fine with me going. Then Mom told me we were having a holiday dinner that night, and I was not going to skip it (again)! Oh well. At least I still have the GT to look forward to. Besides, this gives me more paint time.

Quick question as I am building my list... I see that the limit for troop choices is two of the same but they need different wargear. So for Tau I'm good taking 2 FW squads (with unique wargear) and a squad of Kroot as my third troop choice?

Or is it only two troop choices period?

I think this is meant to be 2 of the same troop choice so you could take 2x FW and 2x Kroot with different wargear.

Remember though that all non-transport units are scoring though so no need for more than 2 troops if you'd rather be scoring with crisis suits and broadsides.

Soooooo, do we really have to wear a pink dress if our army is the least amount painted? I won't have to worry about that, me and my shiney guardsmen! ;D Also, I have a vox unit in both of my veteran squads, but the rules state I can't equipe both of my units with the same war gear... can i do this

yes both units can have a vox, they just cant be equipped EXACTLY the same

Thanks again for putting on the event. Despite seeing two hairy men in a pink dress it was an enjoyable event and something I would definitely do again.

Yeah, very well run event with lots of prize support. It's the first time my Dark Angels have actually won more than one game in a tourney

And apologies to my last round opponent, Dan. I was completely out of it.

Kidding of course, that was a great event, Thanks again Travis for putting that on, next time you gotta bust out the wolves, we need another demon prince to get Jaws'd

Also a shout out to the players, even thought it was a fast paced event, no on got heated and cool heads we in play till 3:30 a.m.

Only down side of the event is that I think we got a 12 year old hooked of Starbucks... gonna be hard to explain that one.
